Effective licenses in Japanese chemical plants (2)
[Water / Air Pollution Control Manager]
The chemical plant which drains industrial waste water or uses large scale chimneys has to assign the licensed workers, who have “Water / AirPollution Control Manager” (水質/大気公害防止管理者, すいしつ/たいき こうがい ぼうし かんりしゃ, Suishitsu / Taiki kougai boushi kanrisha) licence. There are each 4 kinds of grade(1-4th grade) and 1st grade covers a widest range of authority.
If you want to be a manager, I think you should get this license.
[Energy manager]
In case you want to get promotion, you also might had better get “Energy manager”(エネルギー管理士, えねるぎー かんりし, Enerugi- kanrishi) license.
It seems that it’s very difficult to get this license, so the worker who has it has an advantage in job-hunting.
